STEALTH
Featuring: Josh Lucas, Jessical Biel, Jamie Foxx
Brief Synopsis: Three top naval pilots get to fly some groovy planes and get a new wingman - an artifically engineered robot who can do things that no pilot can do. But, of course, something goes horrifically wrong...

Comments: When will people learn that artifical intelligence when struck by electricity will cause havoc? I mean, haven't we had like a million films with this sort of scenario already? (Which is, of course, the time where my brain struggles to think of any titles). Short Circuit is the only one that comes to mind but the robot actually turns out to be mankind's friend. The Terminator series was also artifical intelligence in robots but that was just human's being stupid by activating the programme and letting it be in charge of the weapons of the U.S.A.

Ok the film was better than what I thought it would be. I thought it was going to be wholly predictable but there was a slight twist which made it slightly more enjoyable. The planes look great, Jessica Biel looks great in a bikini, the blue eyes of Josh Lucas look great (as Grace tells me) oh, alright, dreamy then. The action is fast & furious with exciting missions (strangely I suspect something to do with Malaysian terroists as the censors went on a bit of cutting spree during the first mission), throw in a bit of ethics about machines fighting in war & nuclear dust and a double cross and you have the film. Oh and the obligatory love interest that you can see coming A MILE away too.

I'm trying to think if I should mention the twists but better not. Stealth was better than I expected but still not fantastic. It's fun enough for the boys with the women probably enjoying the guys and their testosterone. A little bit like an jet fighter version of The Fast & The Furious so expect about the same level of entertainment.

Things to learn from this film: Don't try to out-fly a machine!
